Suit up for the ride

Suit up for the ride

Time to suit up

Fashion when cycling is essential; let's see a couple of things to consider when suiting up for a ride.

wear your head

First, a helmet. There is no discussion. Safety is the number one priority when enjoying a bike ride. Make sure it is one that fits your head properly and buckles up well. Some cool and safe brands you could check out are Giro, Bontrager, Met.

Shorts or longs?

Second, your outfit. It's important to have some great bike shorts or leggings. They must be from stretch fabric so they can accommodate to your rhythm while pedaling. Yet the most important thing is for it to include the padded chamois. This way you can feel comfortable on top of your seat all through the ride.
When it comes to the jerseys, I highly recommend the ones that have a front zipper because of their easier use and ventilation.
The jerseys are also stretchy style but that helps air to circulate.

at your feet

Regarding shoes (my favorite part) the ones that clip to your bike are the best. This is simply because you get to really flow with the bike as it moves, it's really becoming one unified power. The brand I would suggest you take a look at are: Shimano, Fizik, Mavic

Bottle up!

Lastly, don't forget your water bottle. Every bike has a space for them. As I have mentioned before, hydration is one of the things that determine your success in every bike ride. Furthermore, if you are planning on a long ride, I would recommend taking some protein bars with you in your jersey's pockets to have them on the go.Text
